Art: Bubble Space

"Bubble Space" was created by myself and four others for the Emerging Technologies class at the University of Oregon.
We made a harness that fits around the persons waist equipped with 5 mini portable projectors. Each projector plays a different video on the interior of a large spherical costume made of thin cotton so the videos can be seen on the outside. The costume is portable and is operated from the inside.
We wore the outfit in highly populated areas around Eugene Oregon to get peoples reaction.
I shot and edited the video above.

Interactive music video: Cold War Kids "I've seen enough"

It's great to see the format of music videos evolving to meet the interactive standards of computers and internet. Unlike TVs that have only audio and visual, computers have audio, visual, and inputs from the viewer (keyboard, mouse, webcam, etc.) It will be interesting where they go with this.

Check out what I filmed: Victoria Prince

Victoria Prince is a great musician I met through a friend. She won a singer/song writer competition and got to sing on stage at the Willamette Valley Music Festival and I offered to film her. She was great! I really enjoyed the concert.

Duck U - Host - Episodes 5 and 6

Both of these videos are for the University of Oregon's TV show called Duck U. I am the producer and editor of the host segment.

I have been an editing machine lately. I have 3 other video projects I have been working on that I will try to put up here in the next couple days.

Still one of my favorite commercials: Adidas House Party

Directed by Nima Nourizadeh - this guy makes some dope stuff, check him out!
But this video is So cool. really catches the essence of what i would ever want a party to be like, it just looks like so much fun. i hope to have a party like this one day.
And the song is soooo good, it goes so well with the slow motion. Beggin' - Frankie Valli

Where It's At

Where It's At is a pop culture treasure map where you can find places like The Christmas Story house, the Northern Exposure Tavern (my favorite bar/town), or the Goonies House.
Pretty cool to explore.

Art: Tin can earpeice for your cellphone

I just got the idea to build this device about 2 hours ago, and I had all the materials at home which was nice. I used an empty tin can and a pair of headphones from Verizon Wireless. On the cord of the headphones there is a little microphone so the headphones can be used for hands-free calling. I then took apart the headphones and conceiled them under the lid from the tin can at the bottom of the can so you can't see any electronics.
I glued everything in place and it works! The only probelm is the sound is a little quiet, but overall I thought it worked out great!

Maybe next I'll try a bluetooth version

"Live your life like theres nothin you can't afford"

Lyrics above are taken from the song below.

Sidestreet Reny - BK ( Brooklyn )
Written by: Sidestreet Reny
If Bo Carter and Damian Marley had an offspring this is what they would sound like. They have a great melting pot of sound.

The band recently travel to Roslyn Washington to hang out with the locals and ended up hanging out with my parents at a BBQ. They sound like real people.
Check out their myspace and their youtube, it has a lot of great live stuff.

Bassnectar/Blue Scholars/Common Market is comming to Eugene next Thursday

I herd about Bassnectar through a friend and I youtube'ed them and they look pretty gnarly. The only problem is that on the same night Blue Scholars and Common Market will be in front of my schools library for FREE! Its a tough call, I've see Blue Scholars and Common Market a lot, I've probably seen them the most out of any other music artists, and Bassnectar looks like they would give a great live show. I will have to sleep on this one.
