Check me out hosting the last episode for Duck U for the University of Oregon. For this episode I grabbed the microphone, set my autotune, and busted out some verses! Special thanks to Ransom Notes for the autotuning.
"Bubble Space" was created by myself and four others for the Emerging Technologies class at the University of Oregon. We made a harness that fits around the persons waist equipped with 5 mini portable projectors. Each projector plays a different video on the interior of a large spherical costume made of thin cotton so the videos can be seen on the outside. The costume is portable and is operated from the inside. We wore the outfit in highly populated areas around Eugene Oregon to get peoples reaction. I shot and edited the video above.
It's great to see the format of music videos evolving to meet the interactive standards of computers and internet. Unlike TVs that have only audio and visual, computers have audio, visual, and inputs from the viewer (keyboard, mouse, webcam, etc.) It will be interesting where they go with this.
Victoria Prince is a great musician I met through a friend. She won a singer/song writer competition and got to sing on stage at the Willamette Valley Music Festival and I offered to film her. She was great! I really enjoyed the concert.
Directed by Nima Nourizadeh - this guy makes some dope stuff, check him out! But this video is So cool. really catches the essence of what i would ever want a party to be like, it just looks like so much fun. i hope to have a party like this one day. And the song is soooo good, it goes so well with the slow motion. Beggin' - Frankie Valli
I just got the idea to build this device about 2 hours ago, and I had all the materials at home which was nice. I used an empty tin can and a pair of headphones from Verizon Wireless. On the cord of the headphones there is a little microphone so the headphones can be used for hands-free calling. I then took apart the headphones and conceiled them under the lid from the tin can at the bottom of the can so you can't see any electronics. I glued everything in place and it works! The only probelm is the sound is a little quiet, but overall I thought it worked out great!
Sidestreet Reny - BK ( Brooklyn ) Written by: Sidestreet Reny If Bo Carter and Damian Marley had an offspring this is what they would sound like. They have a great melting pot of sound.
The band recently travel to Roslyn Washington to hang out with the locals and ended up hanging out with my parents at a BBQ. They sound like real people. Check out their myspace and their youtube, it has a lot of great live stuff.
Jet Striar and Bryson Michael are the hosts for University of Oregon's student made TV program called Duck U. Duck U airs in Eugene Oregon every Wednesday at 10pm on channel 23.
I herd about Bassnectar through a friend and I youtube'ed them and they look pretty gnarly. The only problem is that on the same night Blue Scholars and Common Market will be in front of my schools library for FREE! Its a tough call, I've see Blue Scholars and Common Market a lot, I've probably seen them the most out of any other music artists, and Bassnectar looks like they would give a great live show. I will have to sleep on this one.

There is no design without discipline. There is no discipline without intelligence. - Massimo Vignelli
Create your own visual style… let it be unique for yourself and yet identifiable for others. - Orson Welles
Computers are to design as microwaves are to cooking. - Milton Glaser
People think that design is styling. Design is not style. It’s not about giving shape to the shell and not giving a damn about the guts. Good design is a renaissance attitude that combines technology, cognitive science, human need, and beauty to produce something that the world didn’t know it was missing. - Paola Antonelli
