Oil paintings by Brooke Borcherding
Currently on exhibit at the LaVerne Krause Gallery on University of Oregon campus. Every time I walk past this work I get a refreshed feeling. Great work

Ditch Projects Poster I created
This is a poster I created in my Digital Letterform class for an art exhibit at Ditch Projects.
My design inspiration came from International Typographic Style and Milton Glaser's "Art is Whatever" poster

Commodore 64 Synthesizer -- A Digital Artist DIY project
Mackenzie England, a Digital Arts student at the University of Oregon, turned an old Commodore 64 computer into a fully functional synthesizer. All the knobies, lights, and screen were added on. All of the synthesizer components are hidden away inside. It is pretty darn slick!

Scanner Art

Below is Marcel Duchamp's "Nude Descending a Staircase". While I was scanning the picture out of a book, I moved the picture slowly with the scanner element. It's a little play on cubism and how it can display time with movement. Just a little art history joke

Oh college towns...
This is right next to my apartment. I don't even know how that could happen. That is some creative vandalism right there. The whole corner block stinks now.

SNL with Betty White and Jay-Z -- Great Episode, a must see!
Best episode of SNL I have seen in awhile. Not saying that SNL has been bad lately, but this episode just hit it out of the park! Jay-Z's performance was great, playing a compilation set of a bunch of his songs (which I have never seen been done on SNL, usually the musician just gets two songs). But Betty White did such a fantastic job. 88 years old and she is still a great performer, just amazing. Watch the video below to see for yourself, or click HERE.

Kinetic Sculptures -- I want one
The sculpture in the first video can be bought as a kit HERE. As for the second video, it probably cannot be bought, but it is still absolutely spectacular.
